We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded professional to join our team as Head of Controlling.
In this key leadership role:
- You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and business controlling function of our organization. You will develop, implement, and manage financial planning and analysis processes to support the organization's strategic goals. You will also collaborate with department heads to create and manage annual budgets & provide accurate and timely financial forecasts, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- As financial expert, you will monitor budget adherence and provide recommendations for adjustments if needed. You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement systems to track and evaluate financial performance against targets. You will analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- You will identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues, as well as implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- You will ensure adequate financial reporting, highlighting key insights and recommendations, in order to support decision-making across the organization.
- You will work closely with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives, including our compliance department to ensure our compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting.
- You will hire and grow your own team of high-performing controlling professionals, while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive continuous improvement. You and your team will evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in controlling processes, and bring the financial team to the next level.
Is this you?
- You are passionate about fintech. Your industry experience with a payment solution provider makes you very knowledgeable about our core activities (acquiring / issuing / banking).
- Your proven track record in a controlling management position makes you confident in driving a whole controlling process. You are acutely familiar with financial regulations, accounting principles, and controlling methodologies.
- Your sharp analytical skills and detail- and metrics-oriented approach have provided you with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights that will contribute to the overall financial success of the company. Your
- English is like a second language to you. You are at ease using French to communicate with the team on a day-to-day basis. Your knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
- You are driven by results. You are able to proactively and autonomously find, suggest and enforce solutions to problems. Your leadership and communication skills make you an efficient team member and manager.
- You are at ease working in an international environment and love interacting with other cultures.
