We are looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and React to join our dynamic
team. As a Full Stack Developer at Paynovate, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that are scalable,
secure, and user-friendly. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver top-notch solutions that meet
the needs of our users

Your mission:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Build responsive and interactive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes, based on a design system, into high-quality code.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.

  • You are passionate about software engineering. Your degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field, and your proven experience in software development are your core competencies
  • You are highly proficient in Node.JS, TypeScript and React
  • You are attracted to both backend (RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases (SQL and NoSQL)) and front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+)
  • You understand version control systems like Git
  • You are familiar with AWS Lambda for serverless computing
  • You know about CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and automated testing frameworks (JEST)
  • You're experienced with Prisma ORM for database consultation
  • You can set up and manage cron tasks for scheduling jobs
  • You know how containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) work
  • You are familiar with monitoring and logging tools like Cloud watch or Datadog
  • You are a born problem-solver and thrive in finding solutions against constrained environments. You like working in a complex sectors like financial systems, electronic payments and transaction processing for the technical challenges they pose
  • You find the idea of working for a regulated environment rewarding and enticing. You ideally have a good understanding of security principles and compliance regulations relevant to financial software
  • Autonomy, agility and excellence are your motto. You are able to propose initiatives and follow-through
  • English is like a second language to you. Ideally, you are at ease using either French or Dutch to communicate within the team
  • You are drawn to the idea of working in an international environment and love interacting with other cultures
  • Team cohesion is important to you. You are willing to come work from our Brussels offices at least 2/3 times per month, and ideally 3 days a week
