Paynovate is growing! In the context of our Ops team expansion, we are currently on the hunt for a Chargeback Operations Officer. Your main tasks will be to process issuing and acquiring disputes for credit and debit cards payments. You will be also responsible for facilitating the research, resolution and acquiring the dispute handling skills of payment related dispute claims. For this purpose:

    • As true chargeback specialist, you manage issuing and acquiring chargeback operations either via our partners or direct/direct contact with the Schemes. You’ll be using multiple issuing and acquiring channels and tools.
    • You are the SPOC of chargeback operations and knowledge and will have the support of other team members when necessary.
    • You communicate with issuing and acquiring partners in order to train and guide them in their relations with
      cardholders and/or merchants.
    • You review and analyze chargeback data received from customers, financial institutions, or payment processors and leverage schemes dispute resolution rules to determine actions to be taken, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to required deadlines
    • You identify trends and patterns including fraud in chargeback activity to proactively address potential issues and improve overall chargeback process and performance.

    • You are passionate about fintech processes. Your chargeback / payment / finance / revenue accounting experience makes you extremely knowledgeable about the payment solutions challenges.

    • You are conscientious and swift, making you very efficient in your day-to-day work.
    • You hold ideally a bachelor degree, or equivalent by experience.
    • English is like a second language to you. You are at ease using French and/or Dutch to communicate within the team.
    • You are at ease working in an international environment and love interacting with other cultures.
