Context

Paynovate is scaling, and with that growth comes the need for impact-driven HR partners — people who understand the full employee lifecycle but can also act as true business enablers.

We're looking for a People Partner to join our growing team and partner with our Head of People and leadership teams across all departments (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Engineering, Product and Operations).

This role is intentionally broad: you’ll be exposed to all HR activities, but we are specifically looking for someone who brings strong foundations in Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Belgian labor law, and People Analytics.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a SPOC across the full employee lifecycle: from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Lead or support hard HR processes :
    • Compensation & Benefits review & benchmarking
    • Salary bands maintenance
    • Payroll coordination
    • Compliance & audit support (internal and external)
  • Partner with the Head of People on Compensation Reviews, Knowledge Management and HRIS / LMS implementation.
  • Bring a data-driven approach: analyze turnover, absenteeism and other key People Analytics indicators.
  • Contribute to building and improving HR processes, documentation, and automation when relevant.
  • Serve as a trusted partner for managers and employees, providing pragmatic, business-focused HR advice.

The Right Fit

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • 5-7 years of experience in HR with exposure to Comp & Ben, Payroll and Belgian HR compliance, specifically CP200 (or similar)
  • Strong data mindset: you’re comfortable with numbers, dashboards, and turning HR data into actionable insights.
  • Natural business acumen: you understand that HR exists to support business goals.
  • Fluent in English & French, Dutch is a plus
  • Experience across different environments is welcome: SME, scale-up or corporate.
  • Someone proactive, open-minded, curious and able to challenge the status quo when needed.
  • Hands-on, practical and ready to grow with us.
